Although our project began focused on the Mencia grape capacity, we are always thinking in new ways of winemaking, one of them was to develop a great ageing wine with our old plants of Godello variety.
We began working in this wine on 2013 vintage, until 2017 we didn’t obtain the wine that we loved. We used an artisanal labour, less intervention, and our grapes from Villafranca del Bierzo. Traditional press and liquid fermentation with natural yeasts.
2018 vintage was another step for our Godello project. We made a longer ageing getting a more expressive wine. A fresh year that gave godello grapes a lovely balanced and fruity sensation.
