Villegas is a spectacular terroir based in Valtuille de Abajo, one of the most popular in the village, always talking about old men; selecting loam to sandy loam soils, with east exposure, a gentle slope, and old vines.
Vintage 2013 was a strange vintage, everything was going well but in the harvest time there were several rainy days and people had to stop harvesting. We had already finished the harvest before the rain and our quality is too exciting for us.
Winemaking is done in very small tanks of only 1500 litres each. The aging lasts 22 Months in French oak barrel.
